Some information I found on the teachers page within the school website were things like student resources, announcements, assignments and a class calendar.  Each one of these items are beneficial for the teacher, student and parent.  The student is able to stay up to date on what is expected of them and the parents can use this resource to keep them accountable and be able to communicate with the teacher as well.  With that being said to be able to use these amenities that were just described you would need to have sign in credentials.  https://www.leonschools.net/Page/22560

To better myself as a teaching professional I plan to use many different technology resources.  For one, having a page within a school website as mentioned before will not only keep myself organized by my students as well.  One specific tool that would be beneficial is incorporating a google drive into my classroom.  This will provide me with a place to store different documents, activities, and scheduled that the student will use and benefit from.  

Pbworks is a very useful platform to work with a group on a project.  Some aspects of it were not easy to use or figure out how to apply them, but through trial and error they became second nature.  This platform can also be beneficial from an educators standpoint because you can layout class framework as well as keep the information up to date.  Additionally, though the wiki you can make information that you would use throughout a school year more readily accessible.
